Who can apply?
We’re looking for leaders between 22 and 32 years old who are working actively with democracy, sustainability, diversity and/or human rights. You might be an NGO leader, cultural worker, journalist, blogger, legal worker, civil servant, youth politician or in another type of leadership role. Applicants must be citizens of Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine*, Syria, Tunisia, Yemen or Sweden and have a proficient command of both written and spoken English.
*Palestinian ID holders, including Jerusalem ID.
YLVP is a leadership programme for people who want to work for positive change in society – and in themselves. It is based on real experiences and collaborative learning. The expertise and experience of the participants and the challenges they face will largely determine the topics; however, they will concern the following broader issues:
- value-based leadership and group development
- democracy and human rights for a more equal and sustainable society
- networks and the digital world.
Participants will learn by taking part in practical tasks, exchanging experiences and finding common solutions to global challenges.
If you’re open-minded and want a real learning challenge, apply for a seat among the Young Leaders Visitors Programme 2017.
The deadline for applying is 5 December 2016.
